The short answer.

The U.S. TikTok Shop BFCM campaign runs November 11–30, 2026. Learn the seller and creator requirements, content schedule, paid usage rules and measurement plan.

  • Key point / 01TikTok officially announced a November 11–30, 2026 U.S. Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign; as of October 29 it has not yet started.
  • Key point / 02The October 19 U.S. seller guide requires Shop Performance Score of at least 3.5, Late Dispatch Rate of 20% or lower, and shop and product registration; it includes exceptions and additional conditions.
  • Key point / 03Seller approval, product availability and creator eligibility are separate decisions. Campaign-specific creator health and promotion scores must be checked rather than assumed.
  • Key point / 04Use distinct product education, offer-led shoppable video and qualified LIVE creator roles, with separate fees, affiliate terms, usage rights and commercial measurement.

Direct answer: what brands should do now

As of October 29, 2026, TikTok Shop's U.S. Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign has not yet begun. TikTok announced a November 11–30, 2026 campaign window on October 14 and published detailed seller instructions on October 19. For a brand planning creator partnerships, the immediate priority is to verify the shop's campaign access, product registration and available inventory before booking shoppable creator deliverables. Align the content calendar with actual approved SKUs, truthful offers and fulfilment capacity.

Read the TikTok October 14 announcement and the October 19 U.S. seller guide. This is a campaign-specific U.S. execution guide, not a universal TikTok creator rate card or an assertion about 2026 holiday sales results.

Published dates, application review periods, creator challenge windows and the dates a discount is actually valid are not interchangeable. TikTok announcing a campaign does not mean that a particular shop, product, post or creator is approved.

Seller readiness: check these conditions first

TikTok's October 19 seller guidance, which applies to the U.S., identifies the following checks:

Requirement2026 U.S. campaign guidanceConsequence for creator operations
Shop Performance Score (SPS)At least 3.5. New shops without a score may qualify if they have fewer than three serious violations in 30 days.Confirm shop eligibility rather than assuming a creator can attach a sale badge.
Late Dispatch Rate (LDR)20% or lower in the preceding 30 days.Inventory, warehouse and shipping reliability affect media timing.
Account Health Rating (AHR)TikTok recommends above 150; a score at or below 150 may lead to enforcement. This is an account risk signal, not a blanket guarantee of admission.
Product statusAccurate, compliant, approved, in stock and purchasable. The creator's finished asset is useless for a blocked SKU.
EnrollmentSeller Center → Marketing → Campaigns; register shop and products.Check the individual review status of every promoted SKU.

TikTok says most applications are processed within 5–14 business days and advises creating product listings at least two weeks before the campaign. On October 29, these are immediate dependencies. Registered product variations cannot simply be added or removed during the event, and not all seller promotions stack with campaign prices. Lock the intended product, size or colour, stock, actual offer and merchant owner before final creative approval.

Fulfilment promises need SKU-level verification

The seller guide also describes conditional holiday dispatch deadline changes and an extended return window for certain eligible orders. Eligible orders purchased from November 11 at 16:00 PT through December 31 may qualify for returns until February 10, 2027, but exceptions can apply, including certain electronics and jewellery. The dispatch exceptions do not cover preorder and backorder in the same way. Likewise, TikTok's public reference to three-business-day delivery applies only to eligible products.

Do not tell every creator to claim guaranteed three-day shipping or universal extended returns. Provide verified, SKU-specific shipping, offer and refund language, with an owner assigned to update it if the product status changes.

Creator campaign eligibility is a separate gate

TikTok's September 23 Creator Campaign Guide is explicit that eligibility depends on the creator type and ongoing account quality. An affiliate creator may be removed from this campaign if their Creator Health Rating (CHR) falls to 150 or below or their Promotion Performance Score (PPS) falls below 3.0; merchant-type creators have their own CHR condition. These are BFCM campaign rules, not universal eligibility conditions for every paid TikTok partnership.

A practical creator shortlist therefore needs both audience and product fit and verified ability to participate in the specific shoppable program. Ask whether the creator has access to the appropriate live campaign card, can physically receive and test the product, and can publish on the correct U.S. schedule. A creator who cannot enter a particular platform challenge may still be suitable for a separately scoped non-challenge brand asset—but do not promise the challenge's incentives.

Three creator roles, three kinds of evidence

Start with the job each creator must do, not follower tiers.

Creator roleAudience questionDeliverable to buyMain mistake to avoid
Product explainerWhat does the product do, and is it right for me?Real use-case demonstration, comparison or FAQ.Treating views alone as proof of product understanding.
Offer-led shoppable creatorWhy buy now and which SKU should I choose?Accurate shoppable video tied to an approved product and price window.Publishing after the promotion has expired.
Qualified LIVE hostCan I see it work and ask questions in real time?Product test, rehearsal, LIVE show flow, moderation and support escalation.Booking LIVE without inventory or customer-service readiness.

Some products need more education than direct promotional urgency. Complex electronics and smart-home items may require genuine setup, testing and troubleshooting. Beauty and fashion can benefit from several relatable interpretations, while thin-margin products may not sustain heavy fixed fees plus commission. Let commercial economics and buyer uncertainty determine the mix.

How to sequence a campaign from October 29

First, secure the merchant path. Confirm Seller Center access, product review, SKU variant, stock, discount, order-volume limits and delivery promise. Assign a person accountable for refreshing product facts.

Second, reserve creators by lead time. Screen recent typical views and sponsored posts, target-country relevance, content quality, category fit, reliability and ability to accept samples. Check live campaign eligibility separately from the influencer's general reputation.

Third, schedule product experience. Shipping, installation, testing, filming, creative review and revisions all need time. Avoid scripted product endorsements from creators who have not used an experience-dependent product.

Fourth, plan three content waves. Before November 11, explain use cases and buying questions without inventing a future discount. During the approved campaign, activate shoppable videos and qualified LIVE slots with current product availability and prices. Near the end of the sale, amplify only SKUs that remain in stock and operationally supportable. This is a planning recommendation, not TikTok's mandatory creator challenge calendar.

Fifth, monitor the handoffs daily. Keep a simple record for each creator × SKU × asset: role, audience market, campaign eligibility, sample receipt, verified product claims, approval, deliverable date in PT, publication URL, affiliate terms, paid rights, stock status and measurement owner. When stock or claims change, update the creator before the next post.

A minimum creator brief

Include the exact product and variant, permitted statements, what must be demonstrated, what must not be claimed, the actual promotion period, product link, disclosures, formats, revision rules, the PT posting time, account owner and support escalation. Add separate fields for raw footage, cross-posting and media reuse rather than burying all assets under “one video.”

Fees, commission, rights and media are not the same thing

A BFCM partnership might be affiliate-only, a fixed creative fee, fee plus commission, LIVE hosting or a combination. Creator compensation is distinct from samples, shipping, TikTok Shop incentives, content licensing, Spark Ads permissions and actual media spend. Compare offers against common deliverables before judging which is “cheapest.”

TikTok's Spark Ads documentation describes account or video-level authorisation mechanisms. They do not imply that all organic posts can automatically be edited, reused across platforms or advertised forever. Agree on authorising account, territory, duration, permitted edits and licence renewal. See the content usage rights framework before signing a creator package.

For U.S. paid or gifted content, the FTC's social media influencer disclosure guidance addresses material connections. Build clear in-content disclosures into the approved creative or LIVE flow, not just a hidden tag. Verify marketing claims, especially around health, performance, availability, discounts and shipping.

Measurement: from publish rate to commercial contribution

Evidence layerUseful checksWhat this does not establish
Operational deliverySamples received, approved assets, launch dates, live links, campaign eligibility.Business impact.
Content attentionRelevant views, watch signals and genuine audience questions.Orders or incremental lift.
CommerceTracked clicks, attributed orders and sales where tools support them.Incrementality without a credible comparison.
EconomicsMargin after discounts, commissions, fees, shipping, advertising and returns.A universal ROI applicable across products.
Asset reuseLicensed posts, source files, approval status, expiration dates and learnings.Unlimited rights or indefinite authorization.

Do not report gross merchandise value as profit. Define attribution windows and what platform metrics can actually support before launching. The broader performance measurement guide explains the difference between attributed outcomes and incremental causality.

A public creator-commerce example, with important limits

TikTok's October 14 holiday announcement says Rihanna joined a 12-hour Fenty Beauty TikTok Shop LIVE earlier in October, with over one million users tuning in and 53 million impressions. These are TikTok-reported attention figures for a high-profile event; the announcement does not establish merchant profit, incremental ROI, creator compensation or an achievable benchmark for a smaller brand.

The transferable lesson is operational coordination: real-time demonstrations, guest and creator scheduling, product inventory, moderation, truthful offers and reusable content. The celebrity audience is not transferable. Encore Influence's published TEMU multi-market creator activation and SHEGLAM beauty creator program offer separately approved examples of creator screening and repeatable campaign delivery. Neither is presented as a 2026 TikTok Shop BFCM result.

Decision checklist: scale, test or defer?

Current situationRecommended decisionWhy
Shop and products approved, inventory reliable, creators confirmedRun a measured program.Creator content can connect to a genuine purchase path.
Eligible products but limited filming, review or fulfilment capacityRun a focused learning portfolio.Protect execution while comparing messages.
Product still in review, inventory uncertain or claims unsubstantiatedFix readiness before buying reach.Media can magnify operating failures.
No eligible U.S. TikTok Shop selling routeConsider non-shoppable education or another channel.Creator marketing cannot bypass merchant access rules.

Before authorizing a creator: is the actual SKU approved? Can the warehouse fulfil the likely volume? Is this creator eligible for the right program? Are claims and offers substantiated? Who owns fee and commission terms? Are paid rights and disclosure clear? Can the brand distinguish conversions from awareness and learnings?

For the managed workflow behind these questions, see TikTok Creator Marketing, our United States market guidance, and the E-commerce industry approach. A holiday creator campaign succeeds operationally when the story a creator tells matches what the customer can actually buy and receive.

+FAQ

Overseas creator discovery, answered clearly.

01When is TikTok Shop Black Friday 2026 in the United States?+

TikTok announced November 11 through November 30, 2026, Pacific Time, for its U.S. Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign. That is a platform campaign window, not a guaranteed sale or creator reward period.

02What Shop Performance Score is required for the 2026 U.S. campaign?+

The October 19 TikTok seller guide sets SPS at 3.5 or above; new shops without an SPS may be assessed by serious violations in the past 30 days. Check the actual Seller Center eligibility card before making commitments.

03Does a TikTok Shop creator automatically qualify for the BFCM creator campaign?+

No. TikTok monitors campaign-specific creator eligibility, including Creator Health Rating and Promotion Performance Score. Verify the creator's live campaign card and participation status.

04Should brands work only with commission-based creators?+

Not necessarily. Affiliate-only, fixed-fee, fee-plus-commission and LIVE arrangements can each fit a different task, but performance assumptions, samples, deliverables, disclosure and rights should be explicit.

05Are Spark Ads rights included with an affiliate or organic post?+

Never assume they are. Confirm the TikTok post or account authorization and the contractual duration, territory, account, editing and paid-media permissions separately from creator fees.

06How should brands measure a holiday creator program?+

Compare on-time approved assets and relevant attention with attributable orders, refunds, product contribution after incentives and costs, and usable licensed content. Attributed sales alone do not prove incremental lift.
